Who to interview about secession or moving state lines

If you have a podcast or an article to write, don’t call a random professor. Interview someone who specializes on the topic. A degree doesn’t make anyone an expert on any specific topic. Only years of study can do that. Try interviewing these experts – click on their names to find their contact info.

To interview or query academics on the constitutionality of secession from the US, see the list of academics in the addendum to our other article.

On National Divorce, secession, subsidiarity, decentralization, or self-determination in general:

  • Larkin Jackson is president of Free Louisiana, the Louisiana independence movement, which polls 50% in Louisiana. He is a a youth pastor and entrepreneur. Watch his first public interview here: https://rumble.com/v58vmtp-from-steal-to-secession-am-ep.-28-louisiana-seeks-to-be-free.html
  • Red-State Secession. I’m willing to answer emails or DMs. I don’t want to dox my voice, and I don’t suppose it’s worth figuring out how to use AI to disguise my voice until I’m asked on a rather large podcast. I monitor every secession movement in North America and assist multiple movements with writing, data, analysis, and activism. I’ve been doing this full-time for years.
  • Daniel Miller is president of the Texas Nationalist Movement, the only significant organization for Texas independence (TEXIT). Gravitas and very knowledgeable with 2 decades of full-time experience leading the movement
  • Tom Woods, Ph.D. History. A famous podcaster who handles any topic well, as a libertarian on the Right, including this one.
  • Bob Murphy (economics professor at Texas Tech U)is a famous podcaster who has written and argued in favor of a National Divorce as libertarian on the Right.
  • Jason Fry. A member of the Texas Nationalist Movement who wrote a book about TEXIT. I haven’t read it or listened to him yet, but he’s highly recommended by Professor Wall.
  • Mark Kreslins is a former talk-show host and Congressional staffer who lives in Oklahoma. He amassed quite a following on Facebook blogging about a National Divorce before his focus turned towards anarchism. He also wrote a book on it called Exit.
  • ”Professor Wall” has a prolific podcast and column about secession. He recommends Lt. Col Karen Kwiatkowski (Mises Institute) on National Divorce, Dr Paul Gilfillan of Queen Margaret University in Scotland on self-determination, Russel Kanning for New Hampshire independence, Keith Bessette for Florida independence, and David McHutchon for Scotland independence.
  • If you’re specifically interested in California independence (CALEXIT), interview Marcus Ruiz Evans, the moderate who started it all and keeps it in the headlines. For California autonomy: Coyote Marin, a Left-wing transperson who leads ICI, which publishes a weekly newsletter and pays for polls.
